Seven Photo Challenges, Four Difficulty Levels: Elevate Your Photography Skills

Why get this exercise book?

This book's goal is to help you become a better photographer and to make photography more approachable and more satisfying.

  • If you'd like to have more opportunities to shoot photos, this book is for you.
  • If you own a camera but don't know what to shoot, this book is for you.
  • If you're curious about different ways of shooting photos, this book is for you too.

There are seven planned challenges in total, each comes with an explanation, four difficulty levels and a set of prompts that help you start working on your task.

In this book you'll find an introduction to the series and the first challenge.

To participate, you should be a hobbyist who uses a digital camera. You should be familiar with parameters like shutter speed and ISO and with basic photo editing. Any additional theory and technical knowledge, while beneficial, is not required.

The series was inspired by "Art & Fear" by David Bayles and Ted Orland, by creative limitations in the context of art making, and by personal experience of the author, who is a hobby photographer himself.

If you want to shoot more photos, read on!
